marine diesel engine turn air not on fuel

Indication of leaky start air valve: 
*local over heating in air line
*high temp alarm
*color change of special type  of trape fitted to the air line

Engine turn on air ,bunott  on fuel:
In B&W engine the penctur valve are not properly vented 
*Fuel rack stuck up
*fuel lever on local manuvering stand is not on remote mode
*Governor defective
*Fuel p/p booster p/p failure 
*fuel filter is chocked
